Client Services Associate

Position Summary As a Client Services Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to build professional relationships and provide an exceptional client experience. You will use your knowledge and skills to help clients meet their financial goals through daily transactions and quality referrals to other departments within the bank. Responsibilities Provide prompt and accurate teller transactions in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. Balance currency, coin, and teller drawer at the end of each shift and ensure appropriate cash levels. Open new accounts per Bank and regulatory requirements, perform account/file maintenance and other personal banker duties. Provide exceptional customer service and identify appropriate cross‑sell opportunities with professionalism and enthusiasm. Perform all customer teller transactions and input them into the computer system in accordance with established procedures (cash checks, receive cash for deposit, verify amounts, verify balances, examine checks for signatures and endorsements). Process savings bonds, branch capture, cashier’s checks, and other items based on branch. Handle customer requests such as Stop Payments, Debit Card Orders/Reorders, Debit Card Disputes, IRAs, Health Savings Accounts, Wire Transfers, Directo‑a‑Mexico, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking. Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds in accordance with regulations. Provide access to safe deposit boxes following specified procedures. Assist tellers with balancing daily transactions and possibly balancing vault. Recognize, respond to, or refer sales opportunities (Accounts, Credit Cards, Loans) and make quality referrals to other areas of the bank and bank partners. Take initiative to answer customer phone calls/email, resolve issues and provide appropriate feedback in a timely manner. Promptly respond to customers’ inquiries and requests regarding accounts, suggest resolutions on account disputes and other account activity. Work professionally with and generate goodwill between the retail banking department and other internal departments. Protect and safeguard customer information and bank property. Adhere to all bank and regulatory requirements and participate in required training. Actively participate in local community and bank‑sponsored events. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must be 18 years old. Six to twelve months of bank teller experience preferred. Customer service, sales, or cross‑selling experience desired.
