Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00–$26.00 per hour Shift: 1st What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be: Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and material test reports to verify product quality. Inspecting and measuring various components using tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, FARO ARM, and more. Conducting inspections at multiple stages (first article, in-process, final, and receiving) to support the quality assurance process. Recording inspection results and maintaining detailed, accurate documentation. Identifying quality concerns through reporting systems and assisting in implementing corrective actions. Conducting regular calibration of inspection tools and equipment. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, training, and process updates for the inspection team. Supporting a safe and organized work environment aligned with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have at least two years of related experience in manufacturing or quality control, or equivalent training. Possess a high school diploma or GED Are skilled in reading blueprints and have working knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9001 documentation. Are proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and FARO ARM. Demonstrate excellent mechanical, conceptual, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Have strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication abilities. Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and can manage multiple projects independently. Are familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles and the 5S program (preferred).
