Data Services Programmer

We're recruiting an experienced Data Services Programmer for our Data Services team.

Data Services is a department within Freedom that provides data-driven strategies and workflow solutions that maximize clients' marketing dollars is seeking to add a Data Services programmer to our team.


Responsibilities include processing customer data to meet USPS mailing regulations through solutions/services such as; address integrity (CASS, NCOA, DSF), merge-purge, segmentation, drop shipping, commingling and finishing applications. The ideal candidate will be familiar with industry practices and up-to-date with the latest in industry recognized data processing solutions (Pitney Bowes Mailstream Plus, BCC Architect, RedPoint Data Management).

Qualifications

Successful candidates must be self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communications skills. Further, the candidate must be able to multi-task, analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve complex list processing scenarios in a fast-paced production environment.


Three to five years of proven experience in data processing is preferred and having used tools such as Redpoint and/or BCC. Must also be proficient in using Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). The ideal candidate would be skilled in manipulating fixed and variable data formats to perform data processing services.

The successful candidate will have solid interpersonal, communication and organization skills along with the ability to work in a changing environment.

1. Consult with client, service team and supervisor to evaluate individual project needs.
2. Possess and demonstrate skills in data manipulation using industry-related tools.
3. Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes within the industry.
4. Analyze customer data and instructions to determine the most efficient processing workflow to meet the customer's needs and Freedom Graphic Systems' quality expectations.
5. Prepare data, documentation to transfer to the next service team.
6. Review the quality of processes at all stages and review with the appropriate internal service teams or client.
