Interior Designer in Allenhurst, NJ seeking a detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant. Part time 3-4 days week. 9:30-5:00 Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our lead designer in various aspects of the design process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and creative environment. Key Responsibilities: Design Support: Assist in developing design concepts and presentations, including space planning, color schemes, and material selections. Project Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Sourcing and Procurement: Research and source furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories that align with project aesthetics and budget. Administrative Tasks: Manage project documentation, schedules, and client communications to ensure seamless project execution. Site Visits: Participate in site measurements, installations, and styling to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or completed coursework in Interior Design or a related field. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD , SketchUp , Google Suite , and Adobe Creative Suite . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
