Description
- Conduct assessments across various age groups, from children to the elderly, employing established testing methods and observational insights.
- Create customized therapy plans that address immediate goals and long-term needs regarding communication, cognition, and swallowing.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing voice, language, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate tightly with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage families through education and guidance that extends beyond the therapy room, promoting ongoing support at home.
- Assist in inpatient evaluations and interventions as necessary, ensuring a seamless therapeutic journey for patients.
- Keep thorough records that comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
