This role has openings available in all functional areas, with priority on Dry Etch, Diffusion, and Thin Films processes. This role has opportunities across all shifts (4/5/6/7) as needed per functional area. Responsibilities Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training. Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives. Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem‑solving techniques and communication. This position is for a Compressed Work Week Schedule with availability on all shifts in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab52/42/32/12). Preferred or additional qualifications are considered a plus. Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kg) up to four times a day. Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Minimum Qualifications Identify at least one of the following educational or experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field. High School Diploma or equivalent AND 4+ years of related hands‑on experience OR military technical experience. High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2.5+ years in a related equipment maintenance role. High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years technical experience or 3+ years with a Technical/Trade certification. Associate degree in STEM related field AND 2+ years of related equipment maintenance experience. Preferred Qualifications Military experience Advanced Node Semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment. Hands‑on preventative and corrective maintenance on 300 mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent). Skills to influence the creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance. Knowledge of process control systems. Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams. Integrated circuit fabrication experience.
