Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping, production and housekeeping tasks. Shipping tasks include picking, packaging, and shipment of orders. Production tasks include material handling, machine operation, utilizing the RF Units, labeling, and packaging of product. Associate must practice GMP and follow SOP's.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Additional Responsibilities May Be Assigned.Shipping:Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirementsCheck inventory to verify availability of needed stockNotify the Supervisor of shortagesPackage and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practicesMaintain product stock in work areaStock shelves in the warehouseMonitor packaging material supplies and notify the Supervisor when materials get to the restocking pointReceiving:Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipmentSort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is receivedInspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify the Supervisor of findingsResponsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased itemsStock shelves in the warehouseOperate dolly and/or pallet jack in loading and unloading materialOperate shrink-wrap machineProduction Material Handling:Read work orders and verify the material matches the work orderVerify all numbers match the work orderNotify the Supervisor of problems with the ordersFollow work order instructionsPut away new material when it arrives from ReceivingProcess and package shipments for customers handled by Production in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.Production Labeling & Packaging:Prepare labels for shipment in accordance with the work order and customer requirementsCheck labels to verify the quantity is correct.Notify the Supervisor of shortagesLabel and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practicesMaintain product stock in work areaMonitor labeling material supplies and notify the Supervisor when supply is running lowOrganize work orders and verify they are correct with the item being labeledRead work orders and verify the material they are pulling for packaging matches the work orderVerify all numbers match the work orderNotify the Supervisor of problems with the ordersAdjust work orders as required when the material is short, according to the work orderFollow work order instructions, regarding changes of quantity to be sentFollow work order instructions and requests for custom accounts (how to be packed per box size and quantity per box)Follow special instructions for applying outer box labelsMiscellaneous DutiesSpecial Projects Assist in companywide activities associated with the department.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesN/AQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
