Administrative Assistant – Part-Time

Reno, NV | $18.00/hour | Monday–Friday | Part-Time Contract

The Opportunity

Looking for a professional office role where you can build your administrative experience and become an important part of a busy team?

We're hiring a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day support in a professional office environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who communicates well, stays on top of details, and enjoys helping keep an office organized and running smoothly.

This is a part-time position with hours that vary depending on workload and daily business needs. Candidates should have flexibility to work Monday through Friday as needed.

What You'll Do

You'll support the team with a variety of administrative and general office responsibilities, including:

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls professionally

• Greeting and assisting visitors, clients, and vendors

• Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files

• Performing accurate data entry

• Drafting, proofreading, and distributing emails and correspondence

• Scanning, copying, filing, and retrieving documents

• Sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing correspondence

• Assisting with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls

• Preparing and formatting basic documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations

• Ordering and tracking office supplies

• Following up on outstanding administrative tasks

• Supporting management and team members with special projects

• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of administrative experience to be successful in this position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, professional, organized, and ready to learn.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Dependable and punctual

• Professional demeanor and appearance

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team

• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills, or the ability to learn quickly

• Comfortable working a flexible part-time schedule based on business needs

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

• Ability to sit and work at a desk or computer for extended periods

Even Better If You Have

• Previous administrative, receptionist, or office support experience

• Data entry or document management experience

• Experience using printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills

These qualifications are preferred, but not required.
