Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing both standardized tests and observational techniques.

• Administer focused, one-on-one speech therapy sessions addressing various aspects of communication, including language development, fluency issues, vocal articulation, and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to foster comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and families to help continue progress beyond the clinic environment.
• Engage in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and institutional standards.

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
