Temporary Full-Time Position
This is a temporary full-time position. Starting June 1st. - August 21, 2026.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Summer Food Program site staff and/or volunteers.
Summary
The Monitor is responsible for Summer Food Program site operations, including working with all sites to increase program effectiveness, assure program compliance, and ensure that staff meets established timelines.
Assist in the fulfillment of the organization's vision and mission.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Supervises Summer Food Program site staff and volunteers. Performs First Week and Fourth Week monitoring of each site as assigned. Assists and trains Summer Food Program Supervisors with management of site to assure compliance. Coordinates with sites and assists in community outreach efforts. Ensures that meal orders are received in accurate and timely fashion; adjusts meal orders as needed. Maintains accuracy of daily and weekly reports. Observes Summer Food Program meal service. Completes Racial/Ethnic Data Form for each Summer Food Program site. Interacts with children in a professional and appropriate manner. Follows the program guidelines and regulations. Submits timesheet accurately and timely. Wears protective shoes and clothing. Completes training course and maintains familiarity with the "Guide for Site Personnel" handbook. Adheres to all Fresno EOC Personnel Policies and Procedures. Travels for work related business using personal/ organization vehicle. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Works evenings and weekends as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of one year related work experience in nutrition or food production demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
Other Qualifications: Must possess and maintain Food Handlers card or obtain within thirty (30) days of employment. Familiar with public health regulations. Ability to read and comprehend procedures, calculate arithmetic and complete forms. Willing to work non-traditional hours and days to meet the needs of this position. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software used to maintain accurate records. Effective communication and organizational skills. Maintain a valid California driver's license, reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance as required by State law.
