Looking for meaningful after school work where you can help children build important skills without traveling from home to home?

One Step Forward is looking for ABA Therapists / Behavior Technicians to join our center based team for weekday afternoon and early evening hours.

You'll work one on one with children with autism at our ABA center in Forked River, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and everyday living skills. And because everything happens at our center, you'll have your clinical team nearby throughout the day.

One location. Consistent after school hours. Strong BCBA support. Meaningful work with kids.

Your After School Schedule

We're specifically hiring team members who can work weekday afternoons and early evenings.

This is a part time, center based position with consistent after school opportunities.

If you're looking to add meaningful afternoon hours to your schedule while building experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

As an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children using individualized treatment programs developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You'll:

• Provide one on one ABA therapy at our center

• Help children develop communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs

• Follow behavior intervention and behavior reduction programs

• Use evidence based ABA strategies such as reinforcement and prompting

• Collect accurate session data to monitor progress

• Complete electronic session documentation

• Work closely with supervising BCBAs and other members of the treatment team

Who We're Looking For

Previous experience as an:

• ABA Therapist

• Behavior Technician

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Paraprofessional

• Special education aide

• Childcare professional

• Behavioral health professional

Students or graduates studying Psychology, Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, enjoys working with children, works well as part of a team, and can maintain a consistent weekday after school schedule.
