Fire Sprinkler Construction Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Order materials and equipment for projects and monitor financials for each project. Provide vision, leadership, and direction to the Fire Sprinkler Installation Department. Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations, and periodically review performance. Manage and monitor daily operations of construction installation projects. Maintain loading schedules and labor forecasting. Maintain and enhance a positive work environment utilizing management best practices. Ensure safety and industry training is current and documented for all technicians. Maintain a schedule of installers and track hours assigned to projects. Collaborate with the Operations team and provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings. Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs, EHS evaluations, and accident investigations. Meet with building engineers, property management, and site contacts to communicate work status. Develop business strategies and implement action plans to meet and exceed department goals and objectives. Attend construction meetings and interface with end‑users, architects, and general contractors. Build rapport and trust with customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 10+ years of supervision/management experience in fire sprinkler installation in the commercial industry. 10+ years of experience working with fire sprinkler systems. Project Management/Construction Management experience. Knowledge of P&L is a plus. Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the use of Windows operating system. Preferred certification: RME NICET certification. Physical Requirements Must stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly. Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs and handle heavy pipe (10-40 lbs frequently, 50-75 lbs occasionally). Must climb ladders, work at excessive heights, and perform repetitive motion and heavy lifting. Can endure exposure to hot, cold, and inclement weather and wear required PPE.
