Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a qualified pharmacist in an outpatient hospital setting located in Monon, IN. This role requires strong skills in retail pharmacy operations, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and patient care. The contract will last approximately 8 to 13 weeks, with a day shift schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, plus every other Saturday on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, including checking technician-prepared products before release.
• Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
• Enter orders and patient information precisely into the pharmacy system.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license is required.
• Proven pharmacy experience, especially in outpatient or retail hospital environments.
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is preferred for efficient order entry and pharmacy management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a secure and compliant pharmacy area.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
• Every other Saturday rotation
