ELV Business Development Director

Job Overview As a Business Development Manager at Atlas OT, you will work across industries to provide outstanding Operational Technology related services and products. Possible opportunities include assembly lines, oil and gas, datacenters, food and beverage, building automation, pharmaceutical, and more. The role requires excellence as an individual contributor and as part of a larger team. Key Responsibilities Present a comprehensive Business Development Plan, including the resources needed to be effective. Identify potential client prospects within a defined territory using methods such as cold calling, scheduling appointments, and conducting outbound sales outreach. Manage and coordinate events, conferences, and key customer engagements, often traveling for conferences and industry events. Maintain a robust contact list and nurture relationships to drive new business opportunities. Work odd hours to be available to clients, set up events, attend breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to post‑sale account manage and keep customers engaged and happy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline strongly preferred. Five or more years in industrial or technical sales, with a demonstrable portfolio of contacts and successes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and detail‑oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional, multidisciplinary teams. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel unrestricted. Experience with marketing, CRMs, and event coordination. Drug‑free work environment certification required. Benefits Base compensation between $60,000 and $65,000 per year plus uncapped commission. Hybrid/flexible schedule work, with company‑sponsored training and certifications. PPE reimbursement program ($50/month). Paid time off: 120 overtime hours per year plus inclusive of 10 vacation and 5 sick days. Merit‑based rewards and bonuses, including employee recognition, referral bonuses, and quarterly bonuses.
