Senior Golang Backend Engineer Golang | AWS | Kubernetes | Linux | Distributed Systems Are you passionate about building high-performance backend systems that operate at enterprise scale? We're looking for a Senior Golang Backend Engineer to join a team developing secure, cloud-native applications and distributed services that power mission-critical platforms. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang Build and enhance cloud-native microservices deployed in Kubernetes environments Develop RESTful and gRPC APIs for enterprise applications Design secure authentication and authorization solutions Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable, reliable systems Troubleshoot production issues and resolve software defects Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and efficiency Translate business requirements into technical solutions Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews Create and maintain technical documentation Estimate development effort and deliver high-quality software Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of backend software development experience 2+ years of professional experience developing applications with Golang Strong experience building distributed systems and microservices Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and development environments Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes Experience building RESTful and/or gRPC services Experience with Git-based version control Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across engineering teams Technical Skills Programming Languages Golang (Go) Python or JavaScript (preferred) C programming experience is a plus Cloud & Infrastructure AWS (EKS, ECS, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS, or similar services) Docker Kubernetes Linux Terraform (preferred) Backend Technologies Microservices Architecture Event-Driven Systems REST APIs gRPC Concurrent Programming (Goroutines) Identity & Security Experience with one or more of the following: Active Directory LDAP PKI / Certificate Management SSH Key Management OAuth OpenID Connect (OIDC) SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Databases Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including: PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB Redis SQL Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: High-volume, low-latency distributed systems Enterprise platform engineering API gateway development Workflow orchestration Messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS) Performance tuning and scalability optimization CI/CD pipelines Code reverse engineering and legacy modernization Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk We're Looking For Someone Who Enjoys solving complex backend engineering problems Thrives in cloud-native, distributed environments Writes clean, maintainable, production-quality code Takes ownership of projects from design through deployment Values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Has experience building highly scalable, reliable backend platforms Why Join Us?
