This position is responsible for providing direct patient care.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesObtain patient vitals and update patient medical history and medications while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records systemPerform any necessary CLIA-waived testsClean room after patient useEnsure exam rooms are stocked with appropriate materialsAppropriately process soiled instrumentsRespond timely to patient messages and inquiriesObtain insurance prior authorizations for consultation and/or imaging, as neededRefill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriateCoordinate any appointment and/or procedures with other providers or facilities, as necessaryAssist front office staff with daily operations, as neededQualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited nursing programLicensure and Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse license and CPR, required.Experience: Previous experience in a nursing role, preferred.Work Environment: This position will spend 50% of the time standing and/or walking frequent short distances and 40% of time sitting in a standard office environment for data input and 10% of time reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or squatting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
