District Sales Manager, Pelvic Health - Gulf Coast

Medtronic Inc

Medtronic seeks a District Sales Manager for its Pelvic Health division covering the Gulf Coast region (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas). The role involves leading sales representatives, achieving district sales targets, recruiting and developing field staff, and collaborating with regional leadership on strategy and market initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop sales goals and quarterly objectives for each territory within the district
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate district sales representatives and therapy consultants
Provide coaching and feedback to improve sales skills and presentation effectiveness
Maintain relationships with key account personnel and monitor competitive market data
Control district selling expenses and report sales metrics to regional leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years relevant sales experience
Advanced degree with minimum 3 years sales and leadership experience
Experience analyzing financial data and preparing business plans
Demonstrated ability to build high-performance sales cultures and teams
Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
Knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, implantable devices, or clinical therapies
Experience with economic buyers and contract negotiation
