What You'll Do as a Project Accountant

• Manage billing and financial administration for multiple active projects
  
  
• Review customer contracts and identify project-specific billing requirements
  
  
• Set up new projects and billing structures within the ERP system
  
  
• Prepare and process project invoices accurately and on schedule
  
  
• Track contracts, change orders, billing activity, and project financial information
  
  
• Partner with project managers to resolve billing discrepancies
  
  
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances
  
  
• Assist with job costing and project financial reporting
  
  
• Maintain accurate project documentation and system data
  
  

What We're Looking For in a Project Accountant

• 3+ years of experience in project billing, construction billing, project accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar role
  
  
• Experience working with contracts, change orders, or project-based billing
  
  
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within an ERP or accounting system
  
  
• Understanding of job costing or project accounting concepts
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  
  
• Comfortable communicating with project managers and operations teams
  
  
• Spectrum experience is a plus, but not required
