Job Description:


Responsibilities:
• User-Centric Design: Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring a user-centric approach in creating highly engaging and intuitive interfaces for OTT apps and Smart TVs. Translate user needs and business requirements into innovative design concepts and visual solutions.
• Visual Design and Branding: Develop visually stunning and cohesive designs that align with the brand identity and maintain consistency across platforms. Create appealing visual elements, including icons, graphics, typography, and color schemes, that enhance the overall user experience.
• Interface Design and Prototyping: Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for OTT apps and Smart TVs, considering platform-specific guidelines and best practices. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business analysts, to gather requirements, understand constraints, and ensure successful design implementation. Manage stakeholders' expectations and effectively communicate design decisions and rationale.
• Usability Testing and Iterative Design: Conduct usability tests, gather user feedback, and iterate designs based on user insights. Analyze user behavior and interactions to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience.
• Design System Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across multiple OTT platforms and Smart TVs. Establish design patterns, guidelines, and libraries to streamline the design process and enhance productivity.
• Emerging Trends and Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations in the OTT and Smart TV space. Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for adopting new design approaches, interactions, and visual trends.
• Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and design expertise to junior designers. Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth within the design team.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Additional certifications or relevant coursework in user experience (UX) design is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Senior Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing interfaces for OTT apps and Smart TVs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.
• Experience in creating interactive prototypes using tools like InVision, Marvel, or Principle.
• Familiarity with platform-specific design guidelines and best practices for platforms like FireTV, Roku, Apple TV, and Smart TVs running on HTML 5.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and inspire junior designers.
