Assistant Project Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates for the installation of mechanical insulation. Prepare accurate, timely, and well‑written proposals. Assist in field personnel scheduling and material and equipment deliveries. Track field productivity; evaluate potential field problems, referring them to PM as needed. Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database for materials, labor rates, and equipment costs. Attend project coordination and owner/contractor meetings as required. Complete change orders and documentation timely and accurately. Analyze project performance and implement corrective actions to achieve project goals. Collaborate with the safety team to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Necessary Experience Bachelor's degree in construction‑related field OR associate's degree in construction‑related field with construction experience. At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in developing accurate cost estimates. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams. Enthusiasm and strong work ethic. Adaptable to new processes and policies. Highly proficient with Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Able to traverse unstable grounds on working jobsite in varied weather conditions.
