The assembler will be responsible for receiving machined parts and selecting additional components as per work instructions for assembly. Using a variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills, the assembler will complete the assembly process and conduct final testing. Assemblies may be guided by pictures of the finished product or require reading from a blueprint or schematic. Training will be provided for connecting assemblies to a test bench to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive machined parts and select additional components per work instructions for assembly.
• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble parts.
• Conduct final testing and ensure assemblies meet production and quality standards.
• Follow assembly directions provided through pictures or schematics.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly processes.

Essential Skills

• Previous mechanical assembly experience, especially with smaller parts and hydraulics.
• Previous electrical assembly experience in wiring products.
• Ability to work from schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools like wrenches, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.
• Understanding of pneumatics, work instructions, and hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Recent assembly experience is required.
• Experience working from blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and organized, with the assembly department located in a separate and quiet room. The assembly area consists of six cells, each with individual parts and tools, shared with two other individuals, including a lead. Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace is emphasized. The dress code is casual with requirements for close-toed shoes, jeans/work pants, and t-shirts or long sleeves.

This is a Permanent position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
