We're looking for a full-time Automotive Mechanic to join our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Winter Park, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. They handle undercar repairs—including brakes, struts, and shocks—complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires. Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Extensive personal toolbox for performing undercar repairs. Preferred: state inspection license(s). Preferred: ASE Certifications—G1 (Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair), A4 (Suspension & Steering), A5 (Brakes). Physical requirements: Must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance.
