Job Description Employee Benefits Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing small to mid-market group accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the expansion of a benefits vertical. Compensation Package Base Salary: Starting at $80,000 annually, with potential for growth based on experience and performance. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of employee benefits accounts (A-Z account management). Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide guidance to clients. Negotiate with carriers and handle marketing efforts for accounts. Quote new and renewal business, with mentorship available for candidates without prior marketing experience. Support a book of business consisting of 15 groups, with a focus on small to mid-market groups (4-250 lives). Collaborate with the producer targeting groups with 50-100 lives. Qualifications/Requirements Licenses/Designations: Life & Health (L&H) license is required. Experience: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Experience with level-funded health plans is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred.
