About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both strategic and tactical direction for the company's financial planning and analysis. This executive will lead a skilled finance team and work closely with the senior leadership to drive operational excellence and ensure the company's continued success. Key responsibilities include transforming the company strategy into long-range plans, developing and monitoring high-quality budgets and forecasts, and overseeing the design of standard reports that provide deep insights into business performance. The role also involves ensuring that all financial reporting meets the needs of external parties and identifying opportunities to enhance business performance capabilities. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a current role in finance leadership. A strong background in finance, accounting, and analytics is essential, with a preference for those with Oracle ERP experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the strategic design of financial information within a global property and casualty insurance organization. Direct experience in large projects, capital investments, mergers, acquisitions, and business transfers is required. The role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, proven leadership abilities, and a strong desire to make an impact on the business. The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will also be responsible for talent management and must be adept at working in a matrix culture and utilizing shared service resources.
