Registered Nurse Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Goldwater Care Marseilles. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Responsibilities: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and make written and oral reports as required Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician's Order Form Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis throughout the unit and shift Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and applying and changing dressings/bandages, as required Monitor assigned personnel to ensure compliance with established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information Requirements: Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure Ability to work 12 hours a shift Available every other weekend Benefits Offered (full-time) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k following 6 months of service Why Choose Goldwater Care Marseilles?
