Job Details

This CDL A Driver position in Grimes, Iowa pays $30.00 per hour. You will deliver medical supplies and healthcare products to hospitals and other healthcare facilities on a local route. TransForce supports this Grimes delivery assignment with a focus on dependable service and driver safety.

This role requires a current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. Drivers must be comfortable with heavy-touch freight, liftgate operation, electric pallet jack use, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Pay & Schedule

• $30.00 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1200

• Variable start times based on route and customer needs
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a Class A tractor with a 53-foot trailer.
• Deliver medical supplies and healthcare products primarily to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Load and unload freight at customer locations using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Complete heavy-touch deliveries and handle freight throughout the route.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery and DOT documentation.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Experience safely operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
