Athletic Trainer

Your Role Key responsibilities include: Providing coverage and on-site care for athletic practice sessions and game events, both home and away. Receiving sport coverage assignments from the Athletic Director and/or Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Physician. Interpreting data and procedures to address non-routine or diverse problems not clearly defined by procedures. Conducting athlete intake assessments and maintaining medical records for all athletes. Coordinating with management to maintain equipment inventory. Maintaining athletic training rooms to provide the best experience for student athletes. Communicating daily with co-workers, supervisors, student workers, athletes, parents, school administrators, coaches, physical therapists, doctors, and office staff via email, telephone, and in person. Performing work independently with direct accountability, referring complex issues to supervisors. Performing administrative duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. About You The company is looking for: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Athletic Training from an accredited program. Certification by the National Athletic Training Association - Board of Certification or equivalent. Current Kentucky license as Athletic Trainer by the KY Board of Medical Licensure. CPR certification preferred. In-depth knowledge of operating modalities and sports-related equipment such as e-stim/ultrasound machine, ice machine, whirlpool, water boys, Normatec, Compex, and Theragun. Self-sufficiency and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to perform simple calculations. #J-18808-Ljbffr HTU
