Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate with residents and property personnel, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that may impact the location.
• Support move-in, move-out, and after-hours coverage needs as assigned, while maintaining a professional presence and providing clear directions and assistance to residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
