About the Position

Job Title: RN - PEDS Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0800-1700) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience; ambulatory clinic experience preferred. License: RN License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: EPIC experience (highly preferred); skills in port access, CVL draws, patient rooming, and education following provider visits. Description: This position involves working with pediatric patients in a nephrology specialty outpatient clinic. The clinic serves a diverse population from newborns to young adults, including conditions such as pre/post kidney transplant, chronic kidney disease, adrenal diseases, and osteogenesis imperfecta. The role will include assisting with dialysis follow-up care, providing patient education, and participating in point-of-care testing such as urine analysis and rapid testing for strep, flu, and COVID. The RN will be expected to contribute to general assessment skills, manage medication refills, and assist with vaccine administration as needed. This position offers support from a clinical leadership team and includes collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend responsibilities or on-call requirements. Major holidays are observed as closed.
