Java Technical Lead

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern web technologies. Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework. Demonstrate strong expertise in React.js, including component-based architecture, Hooks, state management, routing, API integration, and performance optimization. Develop and maintain integrations between frontend applications, backend services, databases, and enterprise systems. Work with Palantir Foundry to build and support data-driven applications, workflows, pipelines, and integrations. Develop and maintain Foundry data transformations, datasets, pipelines, and application components. Utilize Foundry capabilities to integrate data from multiple enterprise sources and make curated data available to downstream applications and business users. Work with Foundry Ontology and related application development capabilities to model business objects, relationships, and operational workflows. Troubleshoot data pipeline, application, integration, and performance issues within the Foundry environment. Design and implement secure, maintainable, and reusable application components following enterprise development standards. Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain application quality. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software engineering best practices. Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams throughout requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong professional experience in Java/J2EE application development. Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot. Advanced hands-on expertise in React.js and modern frontend development. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices. Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry in an enterprise environment. Experience developing or supporting Foundry pipelines, transformations, datasets, Ontology, and data-driven applications/workflows. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL. Experience with Git-based source control and modern CI/CD practices. Experience with automated testing frameworks for both frontend and backend applications. Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
