The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 16 years and they are looking for a Project Coordinator for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity based out of their Southgate, MI location.

Monday - Friday    8:30am - 5:00pm
$28 - 31/hour, based on experience

Project Coordinator Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for mailing programs.
• Manage mailing projects from planning through final delivery.
• Gather and review customer data, documents, requirements, and specifications.
• Process and validate customer data files for mailing campaigns.
• Coordinate production schedules and communicate mailing dates to clients and internal teams.
• Proofread recall letters, mailing materials, and related documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Prepare meeting agendas, project summaries, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Ensure accurate project billing and timely completion of billing documentation.

Project Coordinator Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of account management, project management, direct mail, printing, marketing services, or related experience.
• Strong proofreading and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze data files and manage project documentation.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
