Independent B2B Outside Sales Representative Automotive Performance Parts

Remote | Part-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor | Commission Only

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated B2B sales professional to help us expand our wholesale and commercial customer base.

This is not an account-management position and we won't be handing you a list of warm leads. We're looking for someone who enjoys finding opportunities, opening doors, building relationships, and turning new accounts into long-term customers.

The compensation structure is simple:

• 20% commission on gross sales from every qualifying new customer you acquire for their first 12 months
• 5% ongoing commission on that customer's purchases after the first 12 months for as long as you remain an active sales representative with us
• No cap on commissions
• Commissions are based on collected customer revenue and paid monthly
• No base salary or guaranteed hourly compensation

A qualifying new customer is a business that has not purchased from us within the previous 12 months.

About Us

Auto Parts International is an established automotive performance parts company with more than 20 years in the industry. We stock a broad range of performance and fabrication components, including silicone hoses, intercoolers, aluminum piping, clamps, exhaust components, gauges, and related products.

The B2B side of the business already generates approximately $1.5 million in annual sales, despite having no dedicated outbound B2B sales team. That business has developed primarily through organic growth and customers acquired through our broader B2C marketing efforts. We believe there is significant untapped opportunity for a dedicated sales professional to proactively develop this channel.

We maintain our own inventory and fulfillment operation in Colorado and sell to customers throughout the United States and internationally.

We're now looking to more aggressively grow the B2B side of the business by developing relationships with performance shops, fabricators, race teams, builders, distributors, and other commercial customers.

What You'll Do

• Identify and prospect potential B2B customers
• Develop your own pipeline through phone, email, networking, social outreach, and direct contact
• Introduce prospective customers to our products and wholesale opportunities
• Build relationships with business owners, purchasing managers, fabricators, and other decision-makers
• Convert prospects into purchasing customers
• Develop accounts into long-term, repeat customers
• Maintain relationships with the accounts you originate

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity is best suited for someone who:

• Has experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, or wholesale sales
• Is comfortable generating their own leads and prospecting from scratch
• Can work independently without daily supervision
• Understands that consistent prospecting and follow-up drive results
• Is comfortable with performance-based, commission-only compensation
• Wants a flexible sales opportunity that can be built alongside other professional activities

Experience selling automotive parts, performance products, industrial products, fabrication supplies, or other physical B2B products is a major plus.

Existing relationships with performance shops, fabrication shops, race teams, automotive businesses, distributors, or similar customers are especially valuable.

This Is a 1099 Commission-Only Opportunity

T here is no base salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed compensation. This is an independent contractor sales opportunity where earnings are based entirely on the business you generate.
