CDL Class A - Heating Oil Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a Heating Oil Driver for the upcoming season to join our team as a solo driver. The ideal candidate will have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Hazmat certifications, with experience delivering heating oil safely and efficiently. This role offers a 40-hour work week with overtime availability, competitive starting pay, and benefits after 90 days. Knowledge of manual transmission is preferred but not required. Job is located in Harrisburg PA.

Responsibilities

Deliver heating oil safely and efficiently to customers
Handle fuel carefully following safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Inspect vehicle before and after deliveries
Comply with all safety and regulatory standards
Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery times
Maintain accurate delivery and fuel handling records

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial driving
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Hazmat Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with manual transmission vehicles
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems
Strong customer communication skills
Effective time management abilities
Knowledge of safety protocols
Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance
Physical stamina to handle delivery demands
