Product Demonstrator Part Time

Job Description The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers, demonstrates products in a professional manner, and maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements. The role typically does not exceed 25 hours per week, although this may change based on business needs. Responsibilities Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements. Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per Company Policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, and read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step on a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; need to meet retailer dress code requirements.
