Travel RRT - ICU - Respiratory Therapy

Travel Respiratory Therapist Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Physical & Mental Requirements Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend Technical/Motor Skills – Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
