Job Description
Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Assignment Details

Contract duration: 26 weeks. Must cover every other weekend; no call requirement.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must be able to float to Med-Surg and other telemetry units
• EPIC experience required
• Must have ventilator experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Must be able to read cardiac strips

Responsibilities

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote)
• Utilize Rapid Response Teams effectively
• Post cardiac angiogram and post-MI care
• Pre/Post cardiac catheterization and surgery management
• Administer blood products and manage central/PICC lines
• Manage heparin and vasoactive drips (no titration required)
• Care for chronic and long-term ventilated patients
