About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 (0700-1930) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Current unencumbered RN license required Certifications: - Healthcare Provider Level BLS required - AHA ACLS required - NIHSS required Must-Have: PCU and basic EKG experience preferred Description: The Progressive Care Unit provides direct care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability. The unit offers care through advanced knowledge and experience. It provides advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions. Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to moderate complexity testing requirements.
