\n Overview:

\nLexington Health is expanding gastroenterology services and seeking board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterologists to join our growing program.\n
\n
\nWe recognize that physicians have different career preferences. As we develop a comprehensive, system-employed gastroenterology service line, we are intentionally designing flexibility in practice structure to meet both physician preferences and community demand. We are currently offering multiple pathways.\n
\n
Practice Model Options: \n
\nOption 1: Inpatient-Focused GI Hospitalist\n
\n
\n

\n
• Primary responsibility for inpatient consults and procedures
\n
• Dedicated hospital-based schedule (7-on-7-off)
\n
• Collaborative environment with hospitalists, intensivists, and surgeons
\n
• Competitive compensation aligned with inpatient productivity
\n

This track is ideal for physicians who prefer hospital-based medicine and procedural focus without outpatient responsibilities.\n
\n
\nOption 2: Blended Inpatient + Outpatient Practice\n
\n
\n

\n
• Opportunities for inpatient coverage combined with outpatient clinic responsibilities
\n
• Flexible distribution between inpatient and outpatient care (customizable based on physician preference and program needs)
\n
• Ability to develop long-term patient panels within a strong referral network
\n
• Participation in shaping clinic workflow, scheduling, and future recruitment
\n

This pathway allows physicians to design a practice model that may include a higher inpatient or outpatient percentage, with long-term opportunity to help shape the structure of the service line.\n

\nOption 3: PRN / Supplemental Coverage\n

• PRN inpatient consult and procedural coverage
\n
• Flexible scheduling based on availability
\n
• Opportunity to support program growth while maintaining outside practice commitments
\n

This option may be ideal for physicians seeking supplemental income, semi-retirement flexibility, or transitional practice arrangements.\n
