Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager

Sunny Unite Sunny Unite provides commercial construction, renovation, material supply, and after‑sales maintenance services for retail and commercial clients across the U.S. and international markets. Our team supports projects from build‑out and installation to ongoing repair, maintenance, and field coordination. We are currently hiring a Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager to support maintenance operations across the East Coast, with a primary focus on the New York market. About the Role This role will oversee regional after‑sales maintenance operations and service projects for major retail clients, including UNIQLO locations in the Eastern U.S., as well as other commercial retail and food & beverage projects. The Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager will coordinate work orders, manage subcontractors and field teams, communicate with clients, and ensure maintenance and repair services are completed on time, safely, and to client standards. Key Responsibilities Manage regional maintenance and repair projects from work order intake through completion. Track work order status, technician scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field resource allocation. Support maintenance operations for major retail clients, including UNIQLO locations and other commercial projects across the Eastern U.S. Communicate with clients, property management teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Participate in regular client coordination meetings to review open work orders, project updates, and urgent issues. Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, technicians, and field teams to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance. Review construction drawings, technical documents, client standards, and maintenance requirements. Coordinate inspections, project closeout, documentation, and follow‑up communication. Support emergency repairs, urgent site visits, and issue resolution as needed. Assist with material procurement, delivery coordination, cost control, and operational reporting. Help improve maintenance workflows, reporting procedures, and standardized management systems. Qualifications 2+ years of directly related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of experience in commercial construction, retail maintenance, facilities maintenance, or project management. Experience with retail construction, commercial maintenance, multi‑site facilities operations, or after‑sales maintenance services is strongly preferred. Knowledge of architectural construction, electrical systems, plumbing, and commercial maintenance processes. Ability to read construction drawings, technical documents, and work order details. Strong field coordination, problem‑solving, emergency response, and follow‑through skills. Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, technicians, or field teams. Excellent communication, organization, and client coordination skills. Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required for client and internal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Flexibility to travel throughout the Eastern U.S. and other U.S. locations based on project needs. Location & Travel This role will primarily support projects in the New York market and other East Coast locations. Candidates based in New York or other East Coast areas may be considered. Regular travel is required based on project and operational needs. Compensation Salary range: $60,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience.
