Medical Laboratory Technician PRN

Mission Hospital, a division of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician PRN. This role will perform routine and complex laboratory analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids with minimal supervision and assist management in monitoring quality control data to ensure accuracy and precision. Qualifications Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from an accredited institution. Employees hired before October 1, 2016 may be exempt if they meet CLIA qualifications for the appropriate level of testing. ASCP Certification or equivalent; if not certified at hire, must become certified within the first year and maintain certification. Employees hired before October 1, 2016 may be exempt if they meet CLIA qualifications. Preferred: Additional certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from ASCP or equivalent.
