Full Time The Bronx, NY, US Salary Range: $24.00 To $40.00 Annually Job Description We are actively recruiting Automotive Technicians for our Fordham Toyota dealership. The role requires diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, performing repair work, documenting all tasks, and ensuring customer vehicle cleanliness. Responsibilities Diagnose the causes of malfunctions and perform the work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards. Maintain and properly lubricate a vehicle’s suspension system and other moving parts. Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required, and notify the service advisor. Document all work performed in the service system. Road‑test vehicles when required, test‑drive and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Ensure cleanliness of all customers’ vehicles. Keep the shop area neat and clean, and account for all dealership‑owned tools. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. Comply with factory and state requirements for technical certifications. Attend factory‑sponsored training classes as required. Requirements Experience diagnosing automotive malfunctions and completing repair orders. Ability to maintain vehicle suspension systems and perform proper lubrication. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of diagnostic tools and service equipment. Understanding of regulatory compliance for hazardous waste disposal.
