Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Location: Reno, NV 89521 (Commutable from Sparks & nearby areas)

Position Overview

We are hiring an Upholstery Production Associate for a leading manufacturing facility in Reno, NV. This hands-on role involves working with materials such as fabric, vinyl, and leather to assemble and finish products.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with tools, have strong attention to detail, and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and prepare upholstery materials
Wrap and bond fabric, vinyl, leather, or laminate to frames or molded parts
Stretch and secure materials for a smooth, wrinkle-free finish
Prepare materials for laminating (cutting, trimming, staging)
Apply laminate to surfaces such as plastic, wood, or metal
Use hand tools, staple guns, adhesives, and cutting tools safely
Inspect finished products for quality, alignment, and defects
Meet daily production goals and follow schedules
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Assist with packaging and labeling when needed
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Work Environment

Manufacturing / production setting
Fast-paced with repetitive tasks
Requires standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods

Requirements

Previous manufacturing, assembly, upholstery, or similar experience is a plus (not required)
Ability to use hand tools and adhesives
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40–50 lbs
Steel-toe boots required
Must pass background check and drug screening
High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule & Overtime

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays & Saturdays as needed
