Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Repairing and assembling metal garbage containers (2yd, 4yd, 20yd, and 30yd containers Mig and arc welding on containers, cutting old containers apart for metal scrap Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time spent on tasks and materials used. Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure all work is completed to a high standard. Stay up-to-date with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices. Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in welding, knowledge of Miller equipment preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a welder, preferably with heavy trucks or similar equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of welding and all associated systems
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus, but not necessary.
• Proven experience as a welder in a rural or similar environment.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

Work Location: In person, Sonoma, CA 95476 Employment Type: Part-time, Hourly Work Hours: Standard business hours of 10am-4pm, with occasional extra hours and weekends as needed for emergency repairs.
