Licensed Child-Placing Agency Administrator
Location: Sugarland, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Us
We are a growing Child-Placing Agency dedicated to providing quality foster care and adoption services to children and families. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Licensed Administrator to provide leadership, oversight, and regulatory compliance for our CPA operations.
Position Summary
The Licensed Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Child-Placing Agency. This position ensures compliance with all state licensing regulations, oversees program development, supervises staff, and promotes high-quality services to foster and adoptive families.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Child-Placing Agency Administrator License.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in child welfare, foster care, adoption, or related human services.
- Strong knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Placing Agencies.
- Experience with foster home recruitment, verification, training, and support.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and administration of the Child-Placing Agency.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements and agency policies.
- Supervise program directors, supervisors, and agency staff.
- Monitor foster home recruitment, verification, training, and retention efforts.
- Review and approve agency policies, procedures, and service plans.
- Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee quality assurance and risk management activities.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation in accordance with state requirements.
- Participate in strategic planning and program development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a licensed Child-Placing Agency.
- Knowledge of foster care contracts and state regulations.
- Experience preparing for licensing inspections and audits.
- Background in program development and staff training.
