Controls Technician II

Cencora seeks a Controls Technician II to maintain and repair materials handling equipment and automated picking systems at a distribution center in Buford, Georgia. The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostics, system upgrades, and CMMS documentation for warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for facility equipment and systems
• Diagnose and repair materials handling equipment and automated picking system failures
• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades to equipment controls
• Maintain CMMS/EAM system records for all repairs and maintenance performed
• Manage spare parts inventory and perform routine preventive maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Two or more years of related, progressively responsible maintenance experience
• Technical vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong electrical background and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, CAD layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment up to 600 volts
• Proficiency with MHE software such as RSLogix, Sort Director, or similar platforms

Compensation: $28/hr-$37/hr (DOE)
