Senior Logistician - Position Description We have immediate hire openings for Senior Logistician (Logistician III) to support the U.S. Navy at Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme part of a larger Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) team in Port Hueneme . Responsibilities: General Tasking Description:

• Logisticians integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.
• Logisticians are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
• The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped.
• It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment .

Experience Requirements: 5-7 years of professional experience, performing similar work Educational & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, any field Preferred / Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 10 or more years, experience working at NSWC Port Hueneme or another Navy location
• Specialized experience: Logistics DAWIA Level 3 certified or equivalent
