Commercial Loan Administrator

Job Details: Location: Corporate 180 - Arlington, MA 02474. Position: Full Time. Salary Range: $61,471.32 – $90,205.96. Summary We are seeking motivated individuals to perform loan administration functions for commercial loan transactions, including closings, due diligence, QC follow‑up, and client service. They will coordinate with attorneys, brokers, and clients to ensure smooth transactions and high client satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide Commercial Lending Support to Relationship Managers. Review and fund loans. Process and administer commercial loans, record new loans, establish files, and manage loan payments. Calculate loan items and charges such as interest and payments. Assist loan officers with disbursement of funds and extension of new loans. Answer client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts, and policies; research and correct account discrepancies. Prepare loan documents as needed. Maintain Relationship Manager portfolios: clear loan, collateral and deposit exceptions, credit exceptions, and past‑dues. Identify client operational needs and match appropriate bank products/services. Assist clients with all aspects of their relationship with the bank, including loans, deposits, and other services. Process commercial client withdrawals on lines of credit and facilitate lender approvals. Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, title companies and other professionals. Reconcile invoices for appraisals, flood determinations, UCCs, and be familiar with OFAC. Work closely with Bankers, Underwriters, Commercial Loan Servicing, and legal documentation to ensure satisfactory closing of loans. Review loan documentation/funding and understand attorney‑prepared documents. Obtain additional information as needed to complete files. Complete annual e‑Learning Plan and BSA training and keep up‑to‑date knowledge of BSA regulations. Prepare and process construction draws as needed. Qualifications Ability to work closely with, cooperate, and assist others. Accurate and attentive to detail. Highly organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated competency in regulatory or compliance processes within established timeframes. Excellent telephone, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 1–5 years of commercial lending experience preferred. nCino experience is a plus.
