Press Brake Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Title: Press Brake Operator (3rd Shift) Location: Kearny, New Jersey Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $25/hour - $27/hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Monday – Friday, (3rd Shift: 11PM to 7:30AM) Press Brake Operator Press Brake Machinist Operator is responsible for all functions related to daily production output. This position requires the use of computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments. Our Press Brake Operators call up existing programs, set up machinery, test run material and perform QC checks on dimensions and specifications. Program, set up and operate a CNC Press Brake. We operate Amada, but open to candidates with other types of Press Brake experience. Responsibilities Communicate with production leads on meeting demands and following schedules. Inspect production parts for defects and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Use basic hand tools, power tools and fine measuring tools. Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Work closely with our Quality Department, Environmental Department to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education or training is preferred. Experience in sheet metal fabrication. At least one (1) year of prior manufacturing experience pressing, bending and/or stamping metal is required. Should be familiar with Press Brake programming and setup. Must be able to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions. Willingness to adapt and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
