Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist specializing in home infusion care. This role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured weekday schedule ideal for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
- Communicate with patients to provide guidance and support related to their infusion therapies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven hospital pharmacy experience, with a focus on home infusion services preferred.
- Familiarity with IV compounding processes or related knowledge is highly advantageous.
- Must hold a current and valid New York State pharmacist license.
- Clean background with no legal issues such as DUIs or other disqualifying offenses.
