The role will comprise of both Inpatient Pulmonary Services, ICU Intensivist Work and Outpatient Pulmonary clinic. Clinical Overview Inpatient Work Schedule/Responsibilities: One Week of dedicated ICU/Critical Care Coverage (7am-7pm) – Boca RatonOne Week of dedicated inpatient Pulmonary service (Consults/Rounding) - Boca RatonAfter hour work is handled by Intensivist cover the ICUOne Week of dedicated inpatient Pulmonary & Critical Care service - West Boynton BeachAfter hour work is handled by a Nocturnist NP/PA Outpatient Clinic Responsibilities: Outpatient Pulmonary Services – On weeks not covering inpatient service linesNew Patient Consults/Follow UpsIn Office Testing Practice Information Group Size: 6 Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians & 3 dedicated Intensivists Affiliated with 3 area hospitalsAcademic Affiliation – Teaching opportunities for residents and fellows Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree.Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical CareOpen to experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates.Active Florida medical license or eligibility for Florida licensure.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and referring providers.
